Max May is a true inspiration. This past school year the high school junior out of James A. Garfield High School (Garrettsville, OH) played basketball, cross country, and baseball all while undergoing treatment for Glioblastoma a rare form of brain cancer. Max was the Courage Award winner at the USA Today High School Sports Award Akron & Portage County show. It was a pleasure to put this piece together.
